Part #3 – WICC Ontario 14th Annual Gala Dinner Live Painting Performance by ‘Fritz’


WICC Ontario (Women in Insurance Cancer Crusade www.wicc.ca) held its 14th annual gala dinner — Dream in colour — on Apr. 14, 2010 at The Westin Harbour Castle Hotel in Toronto. Attendees were treated to a kaleidoscopic live painting performance by artist Fritz Branschant. Fritz specializes in sophisticated art which he has left in 160 communities across the country as he travelled with the Olympic Torch Relay performing his show coast to coast. The painting created by Fritz at the WICC Ontario dinner was live auctioned by WICC Dinner Co-Chair Michael Butler at the event for $2500. WICC presented the Canadian Cancer Society a $300000 cheque at the event and it was announced that since the inception of WICC in 1996, over $4250000 has been raised by the property and casualty insurance industry.
